Measurements:

• True width of chain: 4.4 mm
• Total width of zip: 2.6 CM
• Chain height: 2 mm

Useful against rain, snow, water splashes, wind, but not for underwater immersion. It is the reverse side of the closure that is coated with hydrophobic resin. Water and air slide on the tape instead of penetrating it.

The coated side is sewn outwards, and the spiral inwards (like an invisible zipper).

The waterproof tape does not curve flat during sewing but curls and spins like a standard zipper.
